Although enforcement isn't kicking in until May 2018, considering the regulations are law now, it's astonishing how badly they're understood and how many myths are around and potentially misleading people.
Perhaps more interestingly, we looked at how the regulations can be turned into an opportunity for recruitment businesses.

The new General Data Protection Regulation will be enforced from May 2018. Wide ranging new rules will impact on what data is stored by recruiters how and where it is stored and how it is used. Businesses that break the rules risk firm-destroying fines. This session goes behind the headlines and looks at how the new regulations can be used to provide a competitive advantage. Leveraging GDPR can help reshape candidate engagement, creating a trusted relationship and gaining meaningful insights into a candidate’s experience and aspirations.
