Seems the British Transport police are doomed if they do and doomed if they don't, yet as far as I can tell the calls of 'positive discrimination' are totally unfounded.  

To me it seems that the so called recruitment drive was actually more about raising awareness of what they do, rather than them running a targeted recruitment campaign.

Recruiters will be far more interested in hearing about how they can get involved and proactively help the British Transport police meet the demand for new bobbies, and offer their services to ensure diversity, skills testing and the background checks are undertaken at each stage of the recruitment life-cycle.
